Namig Mammadov

Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Born in 1957 in Ganja, Azerbaijan. In 1983 he graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School named after A. Azimzadeh. In 1990,1991 he took part in exhibitions of Azerbaijani artists dedicated to “Tragedy of January 20» with works "Dance of War," Refugees" and others. In 1993 the exhibition of the group "7th floor," in the state gallery named after S. Bahlulzade in Baku. In 1996, a solo exhibition was held at the Baku Arts Center. In 1997 there was a solo exhibition in Norway, Oslo. In 2000 there was a solo exhibition in the gallery named after V. Samedova of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. In 2001 the artist participated in the symposium of wall painting "Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan" In 2003 there was a solo exhibition on the theme "Albanian oratory" in the art salon of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan in Baku. In the same year he participated in the exhibition of Azerbaijani artists in the French Senate of Paris and the biennale Art Caucasus EXPO of Tbilisi In 2005,2006,2007 he participated in exhibitions of Azerbaijani artists in the Central House of Artists in Moscow. 1997-2001 participant of international symposia in the city of Sheki.
