Caricature exhibition. Kadir Dogruer

The exhibition of works of the famous Turkish artist-cartoonist Kadir Dogruer took place in QGallery. The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan. "For the first time in Baku there is an exhibition of Turkish cartoonist Kadir Dogruer. The purpose of the exhibition is to expand relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of art and familiarize with the work of the famous Turkish artist”, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Adalat Veliyev said at the opening of the exhibition. The attendees congratulated Kadir Dogruer on the opening of the personal exhibition in Baku and wished him creative success. The Turkish artist expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan for organizing the exhibition. Kadir Dogruer was born in 1962 in Samsun, Turkey. He received his secondary education in Istanbul. In 1985 he became a student of the Faculty of Medicine. He has participated in numerous scientific conferences. Kadir Dogruer currently serves as Director of the General Resuscitation Module at Istanbul Memorial Hospital. His first caricature was published in 1977 in the humorous magazine "Çaršaf." Further his works were published in the "Çivi", "Gırgır", "Karikatura", "Diyojen" magazines and also in the Hürriyyət and "Tərcüməçi" newspapers Kadir Dogruer is a member of the Union of Artists of Turkey, Deputy Chairman of the Society of Cartoonists, participant of numerous international exhibitions and competitions.
