“Fly to Baku. Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan” exhibition Paris April 11 - April 21, 2012

Opening of an exhibition on the theme of “Fly to Baku. Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan” was held at famous Salomon de Rothschild House of Paris with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the English version of the “Baku” magazine, April 11, 2012. The opening ceremony was attended by First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, Vice-president of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Minister of Culture and Communication of France Frederique Mitterrand. Over 100 works of 21 artists in painting, graphics, sculpture, photography and video genres were displayed at the exhibition. The exhibition continued from 11th to 21st of April. Author of the project's main idea is Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
