V International Art Festival Maiden Tower 2014
The V “Qız Qalası” (Maiden Tower) International Art Festival was held in Baku on May 7-9, 2014. The festival was attended by 28 artists from 26 countries. The festival also featured 3D painting, one of the most popular forms of street art in the world. Each participant was provided with a model of the Maiden’s Tower or Jeyran, paint, etc., necessary to create a festival masterpiece. Masters worked in the open air for two days, in front of passers-by and connoisseurs of art. Decorating small models of the Maiden Tower and Jeyran with patterns in their national and artistic styles, the artists created works that reflect the synthesis and interchange of different cultures, customs and traditions. Unique works will be further demonstrated in different countries of the world.
