MONEY MONEY MONEY

The paintings of Zarnishan Yusif are distinguished by a fluidity of forms, multilayered textures and rich content. On the one hand, they are expressive, while on the other hand laconically restrained, but absolutely all of her pictures astonish with a complex coloristic solution. Also this time, at her personal exhibition MONEY MONEY MONEY in QGallery, the artist exhibits about 30 of her works, each of which conveys her own, unique unusual worldview of the artist, a vision of the world through a prism of various monetary banknotes inscribed in a canvas. Every day we hold coins and banknotes in our hands, without even being unsuspicious of that we are holding a history. Money develops with civilization – and not otherwise? After all, money is not only a means of payment, but also a cultural heritage of mankind. Among the banknotes depicted on the canvases of Zarnishan Yusif you can see unique, and to some extent rare specimens actively used in the territory of Azerbaijan throughout the last century, from the beginning of the last century to the present day. And it is not by chance that the MONEY MONEY MONEY exhibition is held on the eve of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

Touching emotionality of the young talented artist Zarnishan Yusif, her endeavor to look for new things and be different, her open-mindedness can hardly leave somebody indifferent.
